Beyonce

Hello again. Just thought Id post a picture of our latest family member.
This is sweet little Beyonce or 'Bon say' as Tys calls her (so cute).
We adopted her from family.
It was first thought that she was a 'Boyd' but later discovered that she is actually a 'Beyonce' LOL. Consequently she wasn't getting along with her cage buddy and it was decided that she needed a new home.
We were more than happy to oblige and we already love her to bits. Especially Tyson.
Its so lovely to have a pet again. Even if it is only a little one. TFL

Here Kitty Kitty

This is a LO I completed for a Face book challenge group. The theme was travel.
This picture was taken when DH and I honeymooned in Thailand. We visited the Tiger temple in Kanchanaburi. Its such an amazing place and those tigers are so beautiful.
This one looks like hes posing for our camera and looks as playful as a house cat. LOL.
Well its just a quick post. Bubs and I are off to do the grocery shopping. Fun (NOT).
Bye for now. TFL

Too stinkin' cute.

Here's a LO of my gorgeous little guy. This is another one of my favourite shots of him.
I got this paper stack by DCWV and it had this adorable little skunk on one of the pages.
I thought I just have to use him, but how on earth do you incorporate a skunk into a LO.
I heard this quote and I thought it was a perfect title to use with my little skunk. So here it is.
I'm still getting used to this page. I had planned to use red card stock as the back ground but it seemed to need more black to make the title and skunk work. I had no black pp so I decided to use black card stock as the back ground instead. Only now I think there is too much black.
I cant win, but I decided to stop messing with it before I ruined it completely.
I'm just hoping it will grow on me now. TFL

Cheeky

OK. Here's a little something I whipped up this morning. This is one of my favourite pictures of my gorgeous baby boy. As you can see he is very 'cheeky' in more ways than one. LOL.
This is my attempt at Kylie's DT member sketch on The Boxx. TFL.

OMG I got it done!

I actually finished this LO. Shock, horror. I started it in May 08 and I just couldn't finish it. I totally dismantled my first attempt and started from scratch. The only original feature is the matting on the photo.
I'm so pleased to have it finally done.
That's one more thing to cross off my list of 10. TFL

Handsome

This is a little LO I pulled together last night. In record speed. I love it when you start a LO and it just seems to flow. Its nice to be able to start it and finish it in one sitting, it means that I can pack everything away again. So this morning there is no junk laying around, because 'that page' isn't quite done yet. Paul will be pleased LOL.
This was my attempt at Haileys challenge on The Boxx. The challenge was to complete LOs from the sketches provided using up your old stash.
I had these spotty and stripey pps in my stash for years. And the circles were cut from another pp that Id had for a long time too.
I was so stuck on how to use these papers and when ever I tried it just never seemed to come together. I'm really pleased i finally managed to use them. TFL.

Confused?

OK. I guess its pretty obvious that Ive made more changes around here.
Sorry, I just cant seem to help myself. There is just so much stuff you can do with a blog.
Well we've had a name change for starters. I think this new name is an improvement. It says it all really.
There is a new header and (my favourite) if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see a silhouette of my little family.
Sorry for any confusion. The address has not changed and you can still access it using the same links. TFL.

July is here!

Well July is upon us and I have a lot of things I want to achieve this month, so I thought Id post them here.
Hopefully this will help to remind me and encourage me to 'get it done'.

1) Be a better House Wife. (I'm easily distracted and its a daily battle. LOL).
2) Complete Tysons' 'you rock' LO which I started last year. COMPLETED!
3) Get Tyson to eat more veggies (wish me luck. Ill need it).
4) do some OTP projects.
5) Make some more cards for up coming birthdays.
6) Practice using more stamps and try some new techniques.
7) Bake more.
8) Try to get more early nights (Yeah right!).
9) Create a LO about me at 33.( something Ive always wanted to try and a good excuse to use up some girly pp).
10) Get out doors to take more photos (weather permitting).

OK That's my list of 10. Stay tuned to see if I manage to complete them all. If I don't you have my permission to give me a hard time.
Well I'm off now to try to do more of the first thing on my list.
TFL.
