One more LO for MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK using this months beautiful main kit.

Hey I know Ive scrapped this photo about a billion times and you may wonder why it is that I do that well apart from the fact that at times the boys can be a little un co operative when it comes to photo shoots and the fact that my printer is low on ink, its also because Im putting together albums for other family members too along with special individual ones for the boys to keep. So there you go, I never feel guilty for scrapping the same photos over and over again.

This LO is for the current March Color Challenge over on the Crate Paper blog.

Im a huge Crate Paper fan and I adore this colour combo and challenge set by the very talented Lucy Edson.

OK sorry if your not into close ups but, this one has lots of little details so, I just thought Id share some.

I have made the kraft butterflies myself. I used some free children's colouring in pages which I found on the web. I down loaded the images and pasted them onto a word document so that I could re size them to the exact size I wanted and then I just printed them out onto kraft card stock.

I have also done the same with the round label which is a vintage image I found on The Graphics Fairy blog.

The largest pattern paper butterfly was made by printing out the colouring page image and then cutting around it to make a template. Trace onto some Crate Paper pp and there you have it.

OK, now just before I go I thought Id share a little secret.Lately Ive had a lot of lovely compliments about my photos. Thank you!

So, I thought it was time I revealed my secret. Im by no means the world greatest photographer however, I do have a good camera and I think that is half the battle especially when it comes to the kids.

They dont often stand still long enough to get the 'perfect shot'.

See just a so-so photo to begin with and not perfectly focused.

Ive used PICNIK to edit this picture to make it really 'pop'. I do use the premium version which you do need to pay for but its very inexpensive and totally worth it.

Im a big fan of the 'touch up' feature and find that if you use the eye bright and then the mascara brush over the details on the face you can bring alot more definition back to the finer features and it make the photo look alot more 'in focus'.

It does take a little bit of practice but I think you will be happy and surprised with the results and its easy to use if your a bit Photo Shop phobic.

Just a little look at some one SUPER CUTE

I just thought Id stop by and show you what Ive been up to today. Just messing about with some photo editing.

I had an idea late last night (thats when I get all my best scrapbook related ideas hehehe) and couldn't wait to get up this morning and have a play with some photos of Master J.

I love this photo of Jedd in his overalls and Ive been wanting to scrap them for ages but the light wasn't the best and they needed some editing so I thought I may as well have some fun with them and here's the result.

Cant wait to scrap them now. Not exactly like ^this but you get the idea.

Oh and just in case you were wondering the overalls were originally navy blue. TFL.

Ive been playing around with these few photos and having some fun editing them, not something I get a chance to do too often now and Im afraid Im a bit out of practice.

But I think my boys are gorgeous (proud Mum speaking) and I just thought Id share a couple of my favs from last week end. TFL.

My Beautiful boys.

Hi all. Ive been messing around with Picnik again, but this time Ive used the Premium version.

So much cool stuff on the Premium program. I was up til midnight messing around with some photos and could have been up way longer if my eyeballs hadn't been hanging out of their sockets. LOL.

Here's just 2. The close up of Jedd was done using Picnik and a bit from Picasa. I wanted his eyes to really pop and be the focus of this image. I could get lost in those big saucer eyes of his.

Check out the one of Tys. What a poser. He gets that from his Dad. He did have tomato sauce all over his face in the original (he gets that from his Dad too lol.) Can you tell?LOL. TFL.

Just mucking around with Picnik.

Hey there lovely people. Ive been messing around with Picnik today.http://www.picnik.com/app#/home/welcome I don't have the full version I've just been using the free stuff.

Just testing it out to see what it can do. Here's some examples. Not a bad little program really. You can do some interesting things for free.

There are some really cool new applications too if you purchase the premium version.

Now you can change the colour of your eyes, make yourself thinner give your self a tan and iron out those wrinkles......... Hmmm, I think I could use a little of all of those. LOL.

Super easy program to use. So if your not confident with Photo shop maybe Picnik is for you.`

I am on a scrapbook diet for the next week or so. Still trying to get that canvas finished for an up coming birthday and as usual Ive left it til the last minute. And don't you know it, those perfect embellishments Ive hunted high and low for and couldn't find.........well I found them only I'm cutting it a bit close to get them delivered in time. DOH!

Oh well we will just have to see what I can come up with. Hope it works out OK.
