Sketch Challenge at Mystical

OK so here is my example LO for this weeks Challenge at MYSTICAL. I decided to set a sketch challenge cause that seems to be quite popular and its also one of my favourite kind of challenges.

I couldn't resist adding a few close ups to this post cause I just love my new MLBOW purchases.

You've got to check them out if you haven't already. Super cute stuff!

On the first close up you can also see a little vintage milk top, Ive got a heap of these for sale in the LRR SHOP so pop on over if you want to get your hands on some.

Ive also used a green doily from SWEETVINTAGE78 and a spotty button from THECHIPCHOPSHOP 2 great etsy stores.

See the big fabric bow. How yummy is that retro fabric. Its a reproduction of a genuine 1930s print and you will be able to purchase some buttons made from that fabric at LRR really soon along with another retro print fabric in pink,blues and yellow. YUM YUM!

I have also got the CUTEST little face buttons coming soon that I cant wait to share, oh and some great felt embellies too.

The papers I have used on this lay out are by Sass and my very fav October Afternoon.

The 2 ranges I have used by October Afternoon are 'Ducks in a Row' and 'Fly a Kite' both of these ranges are available at MYSTICAL SCRAPBOOKS along with some Devinne new Prima flowers.

My favourite boys.

WOW 2 posts in one day. Not something I like to do here but I couldn't resist sharing these photos of 2 of my favourite boys.

Ive been playing around with these few photos and having some fun editing them, not something I get a chance to do too often now and Im afraid Im a bit out of practice.

But I think my boys are gorgeous (proud Mum speaking) and I just thought Id share a couple of my favs from last week end. TFL.

Just a sneaky or 2.

Its my turn to set the challenge tomorrow at MYSTICAL. Ive chosen to do a sketch challenge.

So I just thought Id share some sneaky's before Friday.

I finally bought myself some My Little Bit Of Whimsy and WOW! These are even more gorgeous IRL than I had imagined. Think Im going to have to place another order really soon.

Sweet Sherbet.

My Madeit store has been looking rather sad and neglected for a while now. At one point I even considered closing it but I thought why not give it a complete make over and see how we go.

Just because Im not already completely swamped with Lil' Red Rocket and every thing else on my plate. lol.

So now we are called SWEET SHERBET and we are only stocking hair accessories for little girls and their yummy Mummies.

No more button packs, we will keep the embellishments for Etsy.

Any how Im going to host a little give away so if you are interested in winning some snazzy accessories...... stay posted. TFL.

Door sign.

Just thought Id quickly post this little door sign I made as a gift for a family member who has just had a baby boy.

Its a little sign to hang on his door, but I think I might still need to add his name to it.

All the pps are by October Afternoon (my fav)and they are from the 'Ducks in a Row' range.

I was lucky enough to get this range in my DT pack from MYSTICAL SCRAPBOOKS this month along with the Scrap FX chipboard title.

I have a few more LOs to share but this is just a quick post while the boys are out.

Ive been doing some blog browsing lately and I am finding a heap of inspiration from Digital LOs.

Now Im not a digi scrapper and I don't think Ill be starting any time soon.

I like the textures and dimension you get with traditional scrapbooking too much, but they are great to give you some ideas and inspiration.

So look out world I think I found my mojo, now if only I could find the time. TFL.

Lil Red Rocket give away.

Hi there, sorry Ive been a slack blogger. My bad. Life has just been so busy lately and the kids have been sick, you know how it is.

Just a quick post before I collapse into bed.

Heres a LO I completed for the 'Girl power' Cyber crop on now over at Mystical.

My challenge was to use the following elements on a LO.

*the colour red

*buttons

*ribbon

*paint.

Since the CC theme is special women/girls in our lives I couldn't go past this photo of my beautiful niece.

Ive used a hand made 'Twilight' flower that will be listed in sets of 3 in my etsy store as soon as I re open and another Sweet Vintage doily.

I have the most Divine DT kit from Mystical calling to me so with any luck and some 'Mummy time' tomorrow I might get a chance to complete a few more LOs.

some thing a bit different.

My new addiction. Collage OMG Im in love. Sorry scrap booking but this is soooo much fun.

I have drooled over mixed media collages using vintage images since well............forever and I finally decided that I should just give it a go.

Here's what i have created. A little collage for my good scrappy friend Leanne.

Its a first attempt but maybe the start of a new hobby. I can see my beloved husband rolling his eyes right about now. LOL.

Its made from images I purchased on ETSY. Gotta love Etsy!.

Here's a card I made for my beautiful Mum for mothers day using my most favourite vintage image. I don't love the way it turned out but Mum will just cause I made it for her. LOL.

My Scrap booking mojo has been on vacation but I just received a big box of YUMMY papers by October Afternoon (My MOSTEST FAVOURITEST) and some gorgeous Prima papers and my MYSTICAL DT pack more YUMMY October Afternoon and yep you guessed it some prima too, so that may be just the kick in the pants I need to rummage through my scrap mess to find my scrapping mojo.

If you find my aforementioned mojo can you please send it home. Ive missed him and all is forgiven.
