Beach Boy.

I decided it was time for a 'Just Cause' page so here's what I made 'Beach Boy'.

Ive been in a bit of a scrapping slump this last week and Ive been feeling a bit 'BLAH' about my style and LOs.

I think the only thing to do when you feel like this is just scrap through it, so that's what I did.

So anyway I wanted to use one of the new Lil Red Rocket buttons and I loved this series of photos of Tys.

The photos had great neutral tones and so it allowed me to use my two fav colours, aqua and red.

I also got a chance to use papers from my 3 fav manufacturers October Afternoon, Sass and Cosmo.

I even used my 2 new punches. Martha Stewart Medallion and a 1 1/2 inch scallop punch.

I had $10.00 voucher and my LSS was having a sale, so I got the pair for only $20.00 total.
How good is that.

So if that cant pull me out of my scrapping slump I don't know what will. TFL.

No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Im still here and to prove it I thought Id just share a little of what Ive been up to this week end.

No scrapping to share yet. Thats what I plan to be doing tonight so hopefully Ill have some thing to share with you by Monday.

Babys got Blue Eyes.

I had the BEST weekend ever. I went to the scrapbook Expo here in Brissy with 2 of my good scrappy buddies Leanne and Tracey.

We shopped til we nearly dropped and caught up with lots of other scrappy friends some we had met before and others we had only known on line.

It was so nice to get to meet every one IRL and I already cant wait til next year.

On Saturday night we went to a crop held by the gorgeous Geli.

All the regular crowd and a few new faces too. Lots of BOXX girls and lots of laughing and a bit of scrapping.

It was lovely to get to meet 2 more BOXX girls Lisa and Mary for the first time IRL.

I got 2 LOs almost completed but I can only share one for now.

Lots of YUMMY October Afternoon 'Thrift Shop' and some new goodies purchase at the expo, a little bit of glimmer mist, paint, some food colouring and much too much Distress Ink for my liking but oh well you get that. DOH!

The papers and Thickers were part of my DT pack from MYSTICAL. And there is more to come so stay tuned. TFL

A toot and a plug!

I thought it was Christmas Day this morning, cause today I got my Scrapbook Creations Magazine and LO back.
If you turn to page 47 of the current issue you will find my lil' ol' LO at the top pf the page. YAY! and yes it is my first time published, double YAY!! and not to mention my scrappy friend Renees LO on the cover and my other scrappy friend Geli has 2 LOs on page 32 and 33 more YAY!!!And then to top my rather exciting morning off I received my DT pack from MYSTICAL and please excuse me while I wipe the drool from my chin.......................................Yep that's better.
I got a pizza box full of the new Thrift Shop range by my FAV (but you probably know that by now) October Afternoon. HIP HOORAY!
Im in luuuurve, again but I could seriously eat this range its so yum!

The Mystical Childhood Memories cyber crop is on this week end and I decided to set a sketch challenge.

I tried to do pretty but it turned out bright again in typical Shell fashion. LOL.

How beautiful is my Mum and she has hardly aged a bit.
